How Did the Rave Scene Influence You in Life?
How did the rave scene influence you and what are the outlining facts that make it so popular? It’s become the norm after interviewing various ravers that by embracing the music, ravers may release worries and stresses, entering a state of inner peace on the dancefloor.
The dancefloor comradeship and community influence on the rave scene work together to push boundaries to the limit. The rave scene was able to join together and push the scene into a huge gathering of musicians, promoters and peaceful ravers intent on a good time.
These days there are more Rave DJs than ever before, however, it doesn’t relate across as competition, more a bunch of musicians intent on moving the scene forward. It’s starting to raise awareness for the scene and it’s showing a new diverse return within EDM.
The Rave Scene Genres & Their Influence
So what led the way for hardcore to explode onto the rave scene being an influence that changed lives? Technology was evolving with digital technology paving the way for new sounds and talented musicians.
Genres in the UK that contributed to the rise of hardcore in 1991 include acid house, breakbeat, techno, and house music. All played an intricate path towards a new digital revolution that became an unreal uprising of like-minded ravers.
The rave scene and its influence on the international EDM stage was awake and changed how people partied across the world. Ibiza played New York and Chicago House music with other European genres where Acid House was born.
Acid house was what altered the minds and expectations of the new rave culture. The scene exploded and the scene changed into something massive. The Hacienda shown below was at the forefront of the progression from the rave scene’s very routes.
The Rave Scene Influence – 35+ Years
Watching the Hacienda documentary certainly brings back memories for most from that era. However, even in the modern-day, the music is played out all over the world. It’s this that has changed the history of EDM.
Today the routes are still firmly in place and DJs are influenced by the past, present and future. That’s where the influence comes from being able to use all timelines to continue with that rave scene influence that has been with us for over 35 years.
Sure laws changed and stopped the parties, however, we’re still on the path to a new revival of great DJs moving us towards a new direction for the freedom to party. Raves are popping up all over the world again and promoters sense there is a great opportunity to thrive again.
The Rave Scene Influence Today
Without the raves of 1988 onwards into and throughout the 90s there wouldn’t have been much to look forward to. For me, I took a lot of holidays back in those times and it wasn’t until 1988 that music became a huge part of taking such holidays abroad for the music.
Meeting people from all over the world was a huge part of the rave scene influence and today there is no shortage of communities to join online to do the same.
It’s an international scene now with millions of people listening to tunes from back in 1988 onwards. There are DJs across the globe experimenting with new samples and hooks from various eras with exciting times ahead.
Once a Raver Always a Raver
The rave scene influence on us meant some moving on, some beginning a journey behind the decks and other ventures such as settling down with families. There is no mistake however, the music always stays with us.
That’s the power of music, especially rave music it has this ability to stay with us. We’ve just begun a journey with this website at Rave ON 1991 and our Facebook group Rave On 1991 – The Escapism.
These two communities run alongside each other. One for Rave Blogging and the other to reminisce giving a few insights into the future. It’s remarkable how many people remember the past as if it was yesterday.
You’ll always find something in either one of our above communities that reflects on the past. That’s the essence of bringing it all together. However. we don’t rely on the past from our blogging portal where there are various blogs delving into the future of raves.
The Realism & All We Have Learned
There’s no mistake, what we have learned over the years over all other genres of EDM. Rave Music remains firmly routed within the music industry as a leading force for music creation, community togetherness and respect for each other.
The huge amount of international DJs and the evidential Social Media communities showing record collections and DJ set-ups is just amazing. It’s a great experience to realise how modern and technological the scene has become.
Yes, the past with its limited technology shows how far we have come today but it just goes to show even with the simplest of technology how advanced we were, even then. It’s simply unreal how these modern-day DJS are now at the forefront of the future of Rave with an understanding from the Olkskool ravers.
The rave scene’s influence on us helped us establish the true meaning of something that was born to last. Some 35+ years on and we’re still harnessing a true following of old-time ravers with the new Modern-Day DJs and producers today carving a path.
